Game Information
Release date: 7 February 1984
Character: Sparky
Range: Super Color

Spitball Sparky is a Game & Watch title, released in 1984 as one of two games released for the ill-fated Supercolor range. Its gameplay was similar to that of the arcade game Breakout. It was again playable in Game & Watch Gallery 3 as an unlockable game.

The objective of the game is to shoot blocks by letting a ball float. This is done by letting the character, Sparky, breath air puffs. Points are given based on the completion speed. After some time, stronger and even unbreakable blocks appear.

References in other games[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mr. Game & Watch's up-air attack is puffing air in a way like Sparky does in Spitball Sparky.
