Safebuster was one of many Game & Watch units released in the series' lifetime. It is part of the Multi-Screen range, with product number JB-63.

Gameplay[edit]

In Safebuster, a bandit on the top screen wll continually drop bombs down at the security guard on the bottom screen, whom the player can control. The security guard that the player controls wields a tube, which can catch three bombs. If the tube holds three bombs, it may not carry any more. The player must position the security guard underneath a bomb thrown by the bandit, before taking the three bombs to one of the disposal shutes, of which there are one at each side of the screen. where the security guard must then place the bombs into. If one of the bandit's bombs hits the ground without the security guard successfully catching the bomb, it will explode, and cause the player to lose a life. Once three lives are lost, a Game Over will be incurred.
